Build
- These have some weight to them. Not too heavy, but feel very nice in the hands. Nice metal matte finish.
- The stock cable is a springy piece of shit.
- They are pretty durable.
- Detachable 2 pin cable design is nice.
Comfort
- The stock tips are passable at best. I swapped them out with the comply foam ones, highly recommended. Improves the
sound quality by forming a better seal and more comfortable to boot.
- Can listen to them for hours non-stop without fatigue and pain.
- Adjusting the position from time to time helps with any fatigue.
- Overall very comfortable, no complaints.
Sound
- V-shaped sound signature
- Good sound separation. Nothing to write home about, very adequate, can get a little muddy when there is a lot going on.
- The bass is mind blowing. These are amazing for bassheads. Very high quality bass that extends deep.
- The highs are sparkly. I have read that some people can find the highs to be too piercing with these, but I don't have this problem.
- The midrange is recessed and is apparent. I wish the vocals had more body.
- The soundstage is meh. Nothing special. It's adequate.
- The comply tips isolate sound very well. These are basically a closed pair of headphones in terms of isolation.
- I think the clarity is lacking when the music gets really loud.
- The sound is so similar to basshead headphones like V-Moda M100 but with a lot more clarity and more intimate sound.
Conclusions
- very approachable
- worth their price
- portable, easy to drive and don't require an amp
