Why Apple Sucks
When you buy an Apple device, it's never truly yours.
- Apple uses psychological tricks to increase sales
- Many workers in Apple's manufacturing factories committed suicide, forcing the installation of suicide-prevention netting, brought in monks to conduct prayer sessions, and asked employees to sign no-suicide pledges.
- Apple prevents developers from freely creating and distributing kernel extensions by having them jump through hoops to sign the extensions with a key that's hard to acquire from Apple. Only developers with an Apple authorized key can distribute k-exts that'll run on end user machines.
- Apple practices planned obsolescence at the expense of its users to make more profits].
- Apple lobbies against Right to Repair to force users to buy new devices rather than repairing their existing ones.
- Apple lies about iPhone data recovery, falsley claiming that data can't be recovered from damaged devices even though there are many third party repair shops that do it.
- Apple has backdoors that allow it to silently update apps without the user's consent.
- Apple can remotely delete apps it does not approve of
- Apple locks out developers of their accounts destroying their livelihoods.
- Apple steals ideas from apps, copies them, then shuts down the original apps.
