The notion that atheists are so only because they want to do as they please in life is so incredibly annoying. I need to stay hard clear of all religious conversations. It's a pity because my intellectual integrity always wants to challenge my held views and I love a good debate. Increasingly though I am starting to think it is just simply not worth it.

Things to do when religion comes up:

1. Walk away.
2. Become very interested in your phone.
3. Just don't say anything. It's not worth it.

It's just not worth it.

Repeat that to yourself and move on. Also, I need not state this but in quest of being explicit: Don't be stupid enough to bring up the topic yourself.
